I have had the pleasure of meeting Martin many times on and off platform, either has a lifter of Official over many years.
Martin has won many World titles and broke many World records, some of which are still on the record books today.
Since 1996 Martin has been the EPC European Record Registrar, looking after all and keeping up to date these records posted on the WPF web site.
Martin was last in Aldershot, Great Britain in 2017 WPF World championships where he lifted the Gold medal and broke a world record.
Sadly, Martin has recently passed away, leaving his lovely Wife Karin and Son Andreas. We extend our most our deepest sympathy to his family during their bereavement on behalf of the Powerlifting fraternity and thank him for all his services to our sport.
